Welcome to Olive & Eve! I'm Allison, and nurturing people through food and hospitality runs deep in my core.

My grandparents immigrated from Italy to Brooklyn, NY one side opened a series of successful butcher shops, the other, a grocery store that revolutionized the neighborhood by selling pre-made meatballs and chicken cutlets.
My father and mother, the official "curators" of all the major holidays, sourcing specialties from all corners of Brooklyn from cured meats, cheeses and pastries.
At a young age, it was clear to me that good, quality food and drink brings people together emulating joy and satisfaction.
With over 15 years working in the specialty food industry, I felt it time to share my insights on the entrepreneurial makers that I have had the opportunity to encounter along my journey,
I am truly the definition of "foodcentric." I am passionate about cooking, food exploration, conversations around food, nutritional awareness and overall food aesthetics.
My goal is to curate experiences, and specialty provisions to my community in hopes of nurturing the growth and education of unique, interesting and quality goods.
